I had a very good time working on this character, a lot of things could be improuved i know, but i want to move on to the next exercise
so i will leave it as it is. As i have made him as an sculpting exercise i did not open UVs and decided to do the render inside Zbrush,
I known that i could get a much better result in MAX or XSI using Mental Ray, but i will leave that to another exercise in the future.
BG is photomontage and floor under him is 3D.

Colossus is a very old model that I tweaked a lot, just becouse it was mainly a anatomy study,
so it became colossus just in the end of the process. It was done in 3dsmax and rendered with Mental Ray.
Tubes models by Marcelo Leal, I did everything else. Check out my website to see the animation.

This is a personal work i do in my free time, did i mean all night long? LoL I got inspired by the great graffiti art all over Rio de Janeiro' streets, and decided to work on this old model of mine forgoten in my HD for a while, so i worked on him just ther rig right now, and decided to change some things, i added the pents and gave him some hair.
I did the posing and did a couple renders, one for the RGB + alpha and another one to get the occlusion pass as i could not manage mental ray to cast gi or indirect shadows to the matte plane in 3dsmax8... as far as I know and have read, there is no way to do that in MR inside max...
The main coloured stripes is also 3D, but is another project, i shoot some renders of it and then composed it in photoshop, all the other elements were made in photoshop...
Hope you enjoy!

Yesterday i decided to do a render for the scorpion model i have done some time ago, never had the time since than to stop and work on it again. so i went out of the office for a littel while looking for a good enviroment for him to stay, so i have found that pace in the garden, took the picture and started the perspective matching and renders. I came out with this image in the end of the day, wanna share with you guys. What do you think? Critis and comments are very welcome.
